[Post-Event] Codecamp 2017, Cluj-Napoca

This was the last Codecamp in Cluj-Napoca for 2017. With more than 1000 registered attendees and 50 speakers it was a great way to close the year. There were 10 tracks in parallel that made possible to have 70 sessions of 45 minutes in only one day.
I had the opportunity to deliver two sessions at this event, where I talks about how you need to mitigate security when you migrate from on-premises to Azure and Azure CosmosDB. Below you can find my session details and slides.

Title: "Azure Enterprise Security in Practice"
Abstract: "How does an enterprise looks like when you talk about security and cloud? Complicated, rigid and challenging to accept cloud based architectures. After working closely with security teams from different companies I identified different approaches and requirements that are standard for enterprises. In this session I want to discuss and share with you lessons learned on how we can map security requirements to Azure."

Title: "Power-up NoSql with Azure CosmosDB"
Abstract: "NoSQL databases are here to stay. Extremely powerful and flexible NoSQL solutions improve our systems and have a direct impact on our business. Common discussions when you are using NoSQL solutions like DocumentDB or MongoDB are disaster recovery plans, backups, scalability, replication, clustering, security and many more. What if I would tell you a successful story on how we reduced all these topics to only one - Cosmo DB. Join this session if you want to find out how we deployed a worldwide NoSQL solution using Cosmos DB."
